District development

In a central location in the 9th district of Vienna, an innovative, mixed-use urban quarter with around 130,000 m² of gross floor space is being built by 2023 on a 2.4-hectare site around the Franz-Josefs railway station.

The newly developed urban quarter envisages a mixed use of residential, office, retail, hotel and restaurants. During the planning phase, special attention was paid to the respectful treatment of the surrounding area and the established cityscape. The new urban quarter thus blends harmoniously into the existing district structure.
