Property development firm 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG has celebrated another important milestone in its Althan Quarter development with the topping-out ceremony for the ARCOTEL AQ hotel and multi-storey car park.

The topping-out ceremony for the ARCOTEL AQ hotel marks a major step forward for the 2.4 hectare Althan Quartier and brings work at one of the development's four construction sites substantially closer to completion.

On 22 June, property development firm 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG and its main contractor STRABAG celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the ARCOTEL AQ hotel at an event attended by members of the construction team and a large number of invited guests. Christian G. Polak, COO of 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG, and Christoph Schuster, senior manager at STRABAG AG, both said a few words to mark the occasion. Also in attendance were Martin Lachout, CEO of ARCOTEL, the hotel operator that will be taking on the hotel, and Andreas Fitsch, head of operations at GOLDBECK Parking Services, the company responsible for operating the car park.

"One of our primary goals for this development was to create a well balanced mix of different asset classes. The hotel is designed to complement the quarter's generous office spaces and diverse range of apartments and provide a vibrant central hub for the area. With 580 spaces, the upgraded multi-storey car park will also be a real plus point for residents, hotel guests and the surrounding communities alike," explained 6B47 COO Christian G. Polak.
