In the Austrian capital, 6B47 has converted a vacant office building previously used by postal management into a high-quality, mixed-use building, Althan Park, while also preserving prior infrastructures. After just under two years of construction, the keys were handed over for Althan Park in Vienna's 9th district at the beginning of December. Under the motto "Living space with added value", a total living space of 18,000m² was utilized for 240 new residential units, from single and family apartments to exclusive lofts and penthouses. On the ground floor, areas were created for small shops, cafes and bistros. The recipe for success is a versatile mixed use of space. The Althan Park combines living, working, social, commercial, tourism and leisure activities in one location.
6B47 CEO Peter Ulm on the special features of this project: "Althan Park stands for a new lifestyle - urban living in a green environment directly in the city, including its own park with mature trees. The usage mix is also consistent. With high quality, state-of-the-art apartments in varying sizes and layouts, we address both the future demands and the necessary lifestyle flexibility for the future. And the increasing demand proves us right - almost 90 percent of the apartments have already been sold."
