Groundbreaking ceremony for the Steingoetterhof project in St. Poelten

Vienna, 20.05.2022.

The real estate developers 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Steingötterhof” project in St. Pölten together with project partners, St. Pölten’s Mayor Matthias Stadler as well as around 50 other guests including Mario Hameseder, Technical Manager of Strabag AG, Austria, representing the general contractor. Construction started at the beginning of March this year.

“With today’s groundbreaking ceremony, we are launching our sustainable residential project for people of any age who would like to live in the countryside but do not want to do without good urban infrastructure and local amenities and who appreciate carbon-free energy as a model for the future”, states Christian Wagner, CEO of the 6B47 Group Austria.

In order to do justice to the diverse demands and wishes of future residents, a total of 191 flats of differing sizes and areas will be created in the initial phase of construction. Bedsits and flats with up to 3 bedrooms with residential areas ranging from 33 to 90 square metres will be built. Every flat will be fitted with genuine wood parquet flooring, underfloor heating with cooling function and modern sanitary facilities, to name but some features. Flats will also have access to a shared community kitchen, parcel station, underground parking spaces and EV charging stations.

In addition, retail areas will be provided on the ground floor where there will be space for a café, shared office or other service companies.
Matthias Stadler, Mayor of St. Pölten, commented as follows on the groundbreaking ceremony: “We are delighted that 6B47 is redesigning this hitherto empty commercial area and creating new residential space. The efforts to unseal sealed areas are also positive and will contribute towards a green district. I really look forward to the completion of the project and am sure that it will serve to further upgrade St. Pölten.
The first construction phase is expected to be completed by the middle of 2024.
